“Mrs. Smith has been an incredible role model,  the first to wipe my tears,  share laughs and come to my defense. When I came to WCA,  I expected to have teachers and make friends,  but I never expected to find family.”

Katie Pauls,  12th grade

Middle and high school at WCA are unique times of intellectual and spiritual development. A rigorous curriculum, wide spectrum of extracurricular activities, and development of godly character equip students for higher education and lifelong learning.

Sixth through Eighth Grade
Middle school is a time of constant change. WCA recognizes the challenge this stage of development offers and is committed to bridging the gap between elementary and high school.

Students are given opportunity to increase organizational and study skills, time management and abstract thinking. Through foundation-building core and exploratory classes and the opportunity to compete in academic competitions, students prepare for the rigor of high school.

Through weekly chapels, Bible classes, small groups, community service, and praise team, WCA reinforces godly character and values to help middle school students mature. SCA, athletics, and clubs provide other valuable outlets of involvement.

Ninth through Twelfth Grade
WCA’s high school seeks to prepare students intellectually and spiritually for higher education. Students participate in a rigorous academic program, including honors and AP options. They are encouraged to explore their individual gifts and talents by participating in extracurricular activities including athletics, fine arts, praise team, SCA and clubs.

High school students participate in weekly chapels, and required community service emphasizes the importance of a servant’s heart. In addition, juniors and seniors are given the opportunity to go on a mission trip.

The intent of Williamsburg Christian Academy is that students continue to pursue and apply the knowledge they gain into their college careers and beyond.
