Beginning at the JJV level and continuing through the JV and Varsity levels for both boys’ and girls’ sports, WCA’s athletic program will first and foremost honor and give glory to God in all we do. At the JJV and JV levels, our coaches endeavor to teach student athletes the fundamentals of the game in preparation for Varsity level play in years to come. Maintaining our commitment to excellence, we strive to foster a competitive environment with a major focus on good sportsmanship and excellent godly character on and off the court.

JJV & JV Girls and Boys Basketball

2010-11 Highlights:

• Our JJV girls basketball team went undefeated and won the Metro Conference regular season and were also tournament champions.
• The JJV boys basketball team was Metro Conference regular season Co-champions and tournament championship runners up.
• The JV boys basketball team went 25-1 and won the Metro Conference regular season and were also tournament champions.

• Congratulations to Will Mausteller and Deron Powers who were selected to the 1st Team Metro All-Conference Team and the VISAA Div. 3 All-State Basketball Team

• Congratulations to Keyana Brown who was voted the Metro Conference Player of the Year and to Libby Timmer and Tonika Pierce for being selected to the 1st Team Metro All-Conference Team
