Softball

WCA fields both JJV and Varsity softball teams. Our JJV team is open for athletes in middle school, and Varsity is offered to athletes in high school. Our Varsity team competes in the very challenging Metro Conference League. During the 2010-11 season, we had an extremely successful team with freshman Brooke Smith making the Metro Conference 1st Team, and senior Katie Pauls making the Metro Conference 2nd Team. Katie Pauls also made the All State Academic Team. WCA Softball is growing and we have more interest than ever in the sport! Go Eagles!

WCA’s softball program, as with all athletic competition at WCA, flows out of and is integral to our mission of developing students mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We believe that participation in interscholastic athletics should foster and cultivate traits of Christian character including diligence, responsibility, courage, loyalty, cooperation, self-discipline, good sportsmanship and team play, all striving towards excellence.
