STAB has 2 campuses and main mailing address is for upper school campus which does not have athletic facilities, please make sure you do not use 2132 Ivy Road, Ch’ville, VA 22903 for your GPS directions
· Take I-64 West toward Richmond/Charlottesville
· Take exit 118-B for Rt. 29 (heading North) / 250 Bypass (East)
· As you merge onto the bypass, you will need take the 2nd exit (1st exit is for Fontaine Ave) which is for Rt. 250 West
· At the top of the exit ramp there is a stop light and you will be turning LEFT at the light onto Ivy Rd/250 West
· You will cross back over the 250/29 Bypass (the road you just exited from) and go thru one stop light
· At the 2nd stop light you will be turning RIGHT (the sign on the light has a right pointing arrow that says To Old Garth Road but that is not the road you will be getting on, if that makes sense, but you still turn RIGHT there)…you will see a Bellair Exxon gas station/mini mart on your right just through the light, you will turn RIGHT before the gas station
· The right hand turn is a very SHARP, HARD RIGHT turn that almost ends up being a u-turn, the road will lead you down under a train bridge where you will have to turn right or left, you will need to turn RIGHT onto Old Ivy Road
· Then take your first LEFT onto Faulconer Drive which is almost immediately after getting on to Old Ivy Road (points of reference, you will see Real Estate III on your right and Montague Miller Real Estate buildings on your left as you turn onto Faulconer Driver)
· You will come to a stop sign, go straight through the stop sign and stay on Faulconer Drive (as you go thru the intersection, on the left you will see a small white sign with our school seal in maroon on it with a small maroon arrow pointing for you to go straight thru the stop sign)
· As you continue up the hill there is a grassy field on your right and a giant pasture with a white 3-rail picket fence on your left, at the top of the hill you will see the main entrance to our lower school (2 lightly colored stone pillars), as you go through the stone pillars you will see a girls lacrosse turf field immediately on your left and a grass soccer field on your right…..Just keep following the road all the way around to the back side of the campus and as you come down the hill, our main brick Convocation Center (gym) will be on your LEFT….park anywhere there is space and come in the front glass doors and the gym is actually located upstairs.
