Endowment Fund
The Williamsburg Christian Academy Endowment Fund was formed in 2006 and organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, specifically for the benefit of the school. The Fund is a Virginia charitable corporation and is qualified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 with a Board of Directors that oversees its activities and operations.
Gifts to the endowment fund may be directed to support the current needs in the areas listed below:
- Capital Campaign
- Scholarships/Financial Aid
- Faculty Development/Compensation
- Athletics, Fine Arts, or Special Needs Programs
- Unrestricted Funds

Board of Directors
Paul Roa, President – Mr. Roa is a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual and has been with them since 1976. He is involved in the following associations: Peninsula Estate Planning Council, Leave a Legacy, American College, and Christian Legal Society.
Caroline Hemphill, Secretary – Mrs. Hemphill is a consultant to philanthropies. She spent 23 years at the John M. Olin Foundation in New York City, and was Executive Director of the Governor’s Committee on Scholastic Achievement there. She served on WCA’s Board of Directors from 2007-2010.
Donald Brown, Treasurer – Mr. Brown is a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual and has been with them for over 22 years. He is currently a member of the Advisors in Philanthropy organization, and a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an international association of financial professionals.
