INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Williamsburg Christian Academy welcomes the opportunity to share our school with students from other countries. Our caring faculty and diverse student body provide an excellent environment for expanding general education and improving skills in the english language. Our international students attend regular classes and are invited to participate in all extracurricular activities.

WIlliamsburg Virginia is located on the eastern coast of the United States of America. It is approximately 125 miles from Washington D.C., and about 50 miles form Virginia Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Many other historic and cultural attractions are within a few miles. The Historic Triangle of Virginia, which also includes Jamestown and Yorktown, is among the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with Colonial Williamsburg located in the center. Traveling westward, the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains with many opportunities for hiking, skiing, and picnicking are within a day's travel. Busch Gardens Williamsburg, a European themed adventure park, is only minutes away.

Williamsburg's mild four season climate means outdoor activities can be enjoyed year round. The weather in Williamsburg is temperate and seasonal. Summers are hot and humid with cool evenings. The mean annual temperature is 60 °F (16 °C), with an average annual snowfall of 6 inches and an average annual rainfall of 47 inches.
