WCA is committed to providing a Pre-kindergarten program that is Christ- centered and academically appropriate for four and five-year-olds. Our students thrive under the nurturing guidance of well-qualified, loving, teachers.

Many opportunites for development are provided through hands-on activities and stimulating environments. Daily routines encourage self-discipline and provide an atmosphere of security enabling children to excel academically and develop a lifetime love of learning.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN DISCLOSURE

The Williamsburg Christian Academy Pre-Kindergarten is a religious exempt program and is therefore not required to meet all requirements of state licensed pre-school programs. However, Williamsburg Christian Academy is committed to adhering to important state requirements including:

Background checks for staff members

Annual staff health reports (certified by a physician)

CPR/First Aid trained staff members

Staff members trained annually in Child Abuse/Neglect reporting

Annually, WCA files a report with the Department of Social Services documenting compliance with the requirements above (as well as other minimum standards) and monitors the consistency between our program practices and the most current state requirements. We exceed state standards on many levels and consider the state licensing requirements to be a good resource for all pre-schools.
